WELCOME TO MARY’S RETREAT
The first disciple.
She knew the Messiah before, during, and after his life on Earth. Who better to talk to about Jesus than the one who carried him, raised him, and watched him grow. What if we could know Jesus like Mary did?
We created this community to walk together as sisters with Mary towards Christ. Mary’s Retreat is a place to dream, wrestle, and grow in our relationship with God.
It doesn’t matter where you’ve been or where you’re at, you are welcome!
INSPIRING AND PRACTICAL EVENTS
We have powerhouse speakers from all walks of life to share their stories, gifts, and knowledge
Our monthly events are a chance for women to get together, grow in friendship, and come closer to Mary and Christ. The events are community-led, so we get to experience the unique giftedness of the women in our community:
Beach bonfire, s’mores, and music
Personal witness about disability and mental health
Painting tutorial and cookies
Warrior dance to connect with the deep strength God gives us
Mental health testimonies, Eucharistic adoration and confession
Holy Spirit’s Charisms and how we’re called to unite His Church
Some of the topics we’ve covered in our annual retreats include:
Mary and our feminine identity - How can we relate to Jesus’s mama? What’s God’s special plan for us?
Our Lady of Kibeho - Learn about Mary’s apparitions in Rwanda and how her messages helped bring healing
Discernment - Let go of fear to joyfully say YES to God’s unique mission for us
Living Marriage - Dive into Mary and Joseph’s example of trust and love
Healing - Hear stories of God’s all encompassing love to heals us to our core
Female Saints - Get to know saints who have charted their own paths to holiness
Charisms - Discover how the Holy Spirit acts through you to build the Church

ABOUT US
We are a small group of young adult Catholic women in the San Francisco Bay Area. We’ve felt a calling from Mary to help more people get to know our queen and mother. On Pentecost weekend 2020, we hosted our very first retreat on Mary. As it was the beginning of COVID, it was completely virtual, and by the Holy Spirit’s intercession it ended up drawing over 500 people from 30 countries!
Since May 2020, we have been growing in our faith and getting to know Mary more, uncovering God’s unique mission for each of us. We continue to open ourselves to the Holy Spirit and where he is guiding us in this ministry. Overall, we know that we’re called to share Mary’s love, highlight the diversity of her beloved children, and rest more closely to Jesus’s heart as our love for his mother grows. In August 2024 we began hosting community-led monthly events, which continue to bring beautiful fruit of deepening friendships for the women in our community. We are stronger as we walk together towards Christ!
We balance faith, careers, family, and hobbies. We work in tech, media, and education policy as engineers, strategists, and researchers. Outside of work, we love time with our family and friends, writing, dancing, windsurfing, attending music festivals, and being in nature.
